Sydney Ferries Workforce Development Initiative
Training for Sydney Ferries is another success story for the Tourism, Hospitality and Events business line at Western Sydney Institute, TAFE NSW.
On Thursday 24th February Anne Goonetilleke, Director Education and Head Teachers Glenda Grice and Wendy Ashcroft-Ware had the privilege of attending the Graduation of the participants from Sydney Ferries. The participants undertook a Certificate III in Tourism.

New training grants for employers of mature age workers
Do you employ a mature age worker (aged 55 years of over) and an Australian Apprentice or Trainee?
You may be eligible for $4950* to allow the mature age worker to undertake training at the Certificate III level or above to help the worker develop new skills to mentor, supervise or provide practical support to an Apprentice or a Trainee.
